The third edition of the Perugia Cocktail Week: an art in knowing how to drink

The third edition of Perugia Cocktail Week, an event that celebrates the art of drinking well, is scheduled from 17 to 23 June. This event, which is gaining more and more relevance at both a regional and national level, is based on the philosophy that “knowing how to drink is an art”.

This year, the event presents itself with a renewed look. The Perugia Cocktail Week brand has been revisited to make it even more distinctive and exclusive. The idea behind the new design is to pay homage to the classicism of the splendid city of Perugia, referring to the moments of conviviality of the past. The invitation is to drink well, but above all to do so responsibly.

During the week, each bar participating in the event will offer a special menu consisting of three cocktails: a classic Filo Condotto, which this year will be the Gin Collins, a Signature cocktail representing Umbria, and a Non-alcoholic cocktail.

The program of this edition will be rich in content. Every day at 2.30pm a masterclass will be held with a bartender or an expert in the sector from some of the most famous bars and “mixology” projects in Italy. This year, there will also be two guests of international standing, whose names will be revealed later.

Every evening, a different venue will be the stage for a cocktail themed evening or food pairing dinner.

Marco Triani and Christian Di Giulio, the organizers of the event, express great satisfaction. They thank Mastri Birrai Umbri, the main sponsor of this edition, fresh from their new line of hop-based spirits; “Jungle Spirits” which is made up of a Gin and a Brandy both based on hops.

The organizers also thank the institutions that have supported them for two years: the Municipality of Perugia, Confcommercio and the University of Flavors and the local realities that have believed in them again this year, considering the Perugia Cocktail Week a current event, contemporary and which contributes to giving value to their city, shining the spotlight on the world of bars and restaurants but above all on hospitality and the culture of good drinking.

The number of bars participating in the initiative has risen to 23, compared to 16 in the last edition, demonstrating the growing popularity of the event. Perugia Cocktail Week promises to be an unmissable event for cocktail enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the art of drinking well.
