Regional councilor Tiziana Magnacca announces the first numbers relating to the tenders published by the Fse plus Region 2021/2017 for the incentives made available to companies to stabilize employees with permanent contracts.
There are 1,697 workers hired and stabilized so far with the two 26 million euro tenders: one is aimed at young people aged 18 to 35, the other at workers and unemployed over 36. The data, made official with the publication of the list of beneficiaries, refer to the first two windows provided for in the notice; we now have to wait for the data from the third window which closed on May 31st.
“The positive results of the two notices confirm the growing trend in employment data also in Abruzzo. This allows us to be aligned with the national one and therefore to avoid dangerous policies of marginalization in the current socio-economic framework. The choice to encourage hiring then goes hand in hand with the policy we are pursuing with the ERDF programming of incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises for new production processes, which on the one hand generates investments and on the other increases employment which in turn is incentivized with contributions provided by the ESF. This homogeneous framework allows us to obtain results in line with national growth objectives, starting from employment data, from those on investments and GDP up to those on exports on which Abruzzo’s performance is even superior to the national one” .
The two notices were published last July, with the provision of opening three “administrative windows” for the sole purpose of allowing companies to submit an incentive request. “In fact, for about a year we have given Abruzzo companies and VAT numbers the opportunity to benefit from economic incentives to hire or stabilize staff. The data is not secondary – he specifies – because in this the Region has demonstrated particular administrative flexibility and an ability to meet the needs of businesses, also taking advantage of previous experiences”. The data from the third window will be available, after the offices’ preliminary investigation, at the end of July and will be presented in an upcoming press conference
