On the auspicious occasion of Feast of St. Anthony, Protector of the City of Afragolawas officially handed over to Costruzioni Cinquegrana Srl., a leading company in the construction field, the construction site relating to the regeneration and redevelopment of the entire nucleus of 180 accommodations in the neighborhood of Salicellebuilt after the earthquake of 1980.
The intervention is financed with funds from National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), as part of the “Safe, green and social – Redevelopment of public residential buildings” programme, which involves the recovery of degraded areas and buildings and the strengthening of service infrastructures. In particular, for the first time in about 40 yearsthe maintenance and renovation of properties that accommodate a large number of fellow citizens will be guaranteed, who for decades have had to suffer the inertia of administrative managements incapable of determining true paths of socio-cultural growth and sustainable development in the suburbs.
