“Musical Primules”, closing of the review – Inside Salerno

On Sunday 16 June at 7.00 pm in the Church of S. Benedetto in Salerno the fourth and final appointment of the Primule Musicali Review organized by Athenamuse, an association for social and cultural promotion, born in 2022, by will of 8 lovers will be held of art, of beauty in all its expressions.
The Primule Musicali were born from an idea of Maestro Joao Carlos Parreira Chueire, president of the AthenaMuse Association, together with Maestro Stefano Pagliani, artistic director of the event.
Maestro Joao Carlos Parreira Chueire’s idea is to pay homage to the land that welcomed him years ago, Campania, and in particular the city of Salerno, where 33 years ago he founded the Mozarteum Music Academy.
The will of the Maestro and all the members of the AthenaMuse Association is to facilitate and stimulate the professional growth of young instrumentalists and artists from Salerno and Campania, organizing masterclasses, conferences and concerts.
The aim of the Primule Musicali festival, in collaboration with the Italian School of Strings, is to bring great performers to perform concerts with young instrumentalists, to create bridges with other European schools and to establish contacts that open up new possibilities.
Two worlds that, intertwining, give life to ideas and projects made up of stories, talents, emotions and, above all, people united by a shared path that is not a goal, but a small part of the journey.
“the name of the event comes from the idea of proposing it in Spring, as a symbol of rebirth, as a proposal for new objectives and changes that lead to transformations and the flourishing of “promising young people” as happens with the miracle of spring. Hence the name Primule Musicali which aims to underline both the young age of the instrumentalists and the “first notes of spring”. Furthermore, the aim of the Association is to enhance the artistic heritage of our city and our territory, hence the choice to propose concerts in some of the most beautiful churches in the historic center of the city, with the aim of bringing together and conveying not only musical culture, but also provide an artistic testimony, re-proposing and rediscovering places and routes in the historic center of Salerno.”
The event is divided into four concerts which will be held on the Sundays of April 21st, in the Church of the SS. Crucifix,
with soloist Florin Paul, first prize at the Paganini Competition; on May 19th in the Church of St. George, with soloist Ilya Grubert,
