The Gathering of the Triveneto in Bibione and the Sfera Ebbasta concert in Lignano Sabbiadoro will attract thousands of tourists and visitors to the Veneto and Friulian coast this weekend. The Autostrade Alto Adriatico network confirms itself as the ideal “corridor” of traffic flows for major events, which effectively represent the testing ground in view of the summer season. The A4 in both directions, the A28 towards Portogruaro, the A57 (Mestre ring road) towards Trieste, the Latisana and Portogruaro junctions and the Lisert barrier will be the “special observation” of this weekend.

Starting today, Friday 14th, traffic will be heavy (“yellow sticker”) throughout the day along the A4 towards Trieste, with possible queues or slowdowns at the exit of the Lisert barrier in the afternoon, and at the exit and entrance at the Latisana junction in the evening for the presence of the Austrian singer Andreas Gabalier in Lignano. Same script also on the A28 starting in the afternoon heading south with heavy traffic at the Portogruaro exit.

For tomorrow, Saturday 15th (the day of the Sfera Ebbasta concert), the greatest critical issues could occur on the Mestre ring road towards Trieste (red dot during the morning), while traffic will develop for the entire day in both directions ( yellow sticker) on the A4 with queues and slowdowns near the main junctions towards the sea, in particular at the exit at the Lisert barrier in the afternoon and near the Latisana junction (until late afternoon/evening).

During the morning, heavy traffic is also expected on the A28 exiting at the Cordignano barrier and at the Portogruaro junction. Finally, on Sunday 16th (the day of the Alpine corps rally), there will still be a yellow sticker on the A4 in both directions and on the A28, especially when exiting at Portogruaro.

Autostrade Alto Adriatico reminds you that due to the works by Fvg Strade on the Sistiana flyover from 8pm on Saturday 15th to 6am on Sunday 16th (a time slot in which a drop in traffic is generally expected) motorway junction 13 towards Venice will be closed in stretch between Prosecco and Duino, and towards Trieste at the Sistiana junction. Therefore, in the direction of Venice the obligatory exit will be at the Prosecco junction with detours for the return to Lisert. In the direction of Trieste the obligatory exit will be Sistiana with the possibility of re-entering Sistiana after the NSA (Nuova Strada Anas) 56 overpass.
