The approval of the certifier arrives for the three Territorial Operational Centers (COT) of Finale, Savona and Cairo activated on 2 May 2024. Based on the legislation linked to the Pnrr, the instrument that financed the creation of the COT, it is expected that the certification by a third party technician on a series of aspects of the operations centers.
The professional must verify that the technical and organizational specifications of the project are in line with the description of the investment and the target of the structure, which range from logistics, personnel, to the data of the people assisted since the start of the Cot, in that phase which can be defined as experimental.
“We are very satisfied with the work done so far with the COT – declares Monica Cirone, socio-health director of ASL2 – which for us represents a decisive step in the reform of territorial services, in the development activity for the hospital-territory path. All the home care and residential care activities have already been started, and soon chronic conditions.”
The territorial operations centers, financed under Mission 6 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), have the task of coordinating assistance to citizens and acting as a point of contact between the services and professionals involved in the various healthcare areas : from the hospital to the local area, from residential to home care, passing through the emergency-urgency network.
