AOH is an architecture themed tour Naples from 19 to 22 June 2024with traveling events freein the areas Chiaia, Vomero, Centre, proposed by architects who participate with their realities. At different times and days, presenting a construction site, your home or your studio.
The attentive public, passionate about details, beauty, architecture and landscape, has the opportunity to get to know architects and projects in a convivial way, as well as discover new places and interesting.
Architecture Open House at the 7th editionis organized by the Brillart Association, with the patronage of the Campania Region, the Municipality of Naples, the Order of Architects, Landscape Planners and Conservators of Naples and the Province (which recognizes CFPs for members who participate in the meetings, one for each appointment) and of Oice-Confindustria, in collaboration with Studio Trisorio and MielePiù.
An absolute novelty for AOH 2024 is «Napoli Vista dal Mare», the first appointment of the tour, Wednesday 19 June at 11.00. An overview of the city with a story by the architect Francesca Brancaccio of studio b5, where the most significant places in Naples overlooking the sea. The event on the Technemea 70 Yacht is in collaboration with Rada Hotel and its fleet with exclusive hotel service on board.
Equipped with artist braceletwhich this year is created by the architect and artist Stefano Mango, who designed the stylized and seraphic Partenope mermaid as the protagonist on a blue-white background of great effect, and who participates with his studio Wednesday 19 June 5.00pm/8.00pm in Largo Ferrandina n. 1, Naples. A magical place, a sort of think tank, where the architect puts together projects and dreams, which as in this case he shares with the guests.
Particularly felt is the theme of sustainabilityas well as the choice of cutting-edge technological supports, with the participation of studios that work favoring them, including this year Wednesday 19 June, 3.30pm/6.30pm the architect Michele Piccolo, at Mielepiù, reference showroom for architects and engineers, in via dei Mille n. 40Naples. Here the architect Piccolo will talk about the Matterport technology with its unparalleled 3D visual clarity, which simplifies project management in every design and construction phase, using his private home construction site as an example.
Among the appointments of Thursday 20 June, at 12.00/14.00 Od’A Officina di Architettura, architects Giovanni Aurino and Francesca Fasanaro will open the finished construction site «Residenza Scale Napoletane» in Via Girolamo Santacroce n. 15, Naples. Creative transformation of a town on different levels, with Mediterranean atmospheres and Campania materials from paving to majolica, including terraces, windows, high vaults, and stairs.
Professor Aldo Capasso Architect and Artist always the 20 at 18.00/20.00 presents both his studio/The Art Room in via Annibale Caccavello n. 59/bthat his house/Pinocchioteca is in the same street but al street number no. 12/L, whose large living room is covered with works dedicated to Pinocchio. Works born from the artist’s great curiosity for the Collodian puppet, creating over 100 highly imaginative works, assembling, in square frames, artisanal objects, books, photos, newspapers and souvenirs dedicated to Pinocchioan «Intorno a Pinocchio» which has had various exhibition opportunities, such as at the Collodi Foundation in Pescia (2008) or at the Maschio Angioino in Naples (2010).
