Terni, driving without a license and with two ounces of hashish in the car: 24-year-old pusher in handcuffs

TERNI – He was driving without a license and with drugs hidden inside the car.

Not a few doses but more than two ounces of hashish. Also in the trunk is a precision scale to carefully prepare the doses to be distributed in the city.

The pusher, 24 years oldoriginally from Liberia but domiciled in Terni, stumbled upon one of the daily checks by the yellow flames who have been patrolling the valley for months to combat drug dealing.

He was stopped, for an initiative check, in the Viale dello Stadio area by the financiers of the Terni group.

Investigators immediately established that the 24-year-old was driving without a license.

At that point the search of the car began.

More than two ounces of hashish emerged, already divided into doses.

He was put in handcuffs.

Then the hearing in front of the judge Simona Tordelli who, after validating the arrest, placed the 24-year-old under house arrest. He also had a previous conviction from the court of Viterbo, again linked to detention for the purpose of drug dealing, a circumstance which convinced the judge to order the precautionary measure pending the hearing on the merits.

AND’ yet another drug dealer who ended up in the tight mesh of controls of the police forces.

Relentlessly engaged in a war, often unequal, waged to keep at bay those who continue to flood the Conca market con substances that are sometimes even lethal.

The numbers returned by the Carabinieri command on the occasion of the weapons festival are only a bitter confirmation of an alarming phenomenon. In twelve months i Carabinieri seized 12 kilos of narcotic substances: five kilos of cocaine, over five and a half kilos of hashish, one and a hundred kilos of marijuana and then other substances new to the Umbrian square. As the pink cocaine, with an inviting color and devastating effects for those who take it, which was recovered by the Terni military in a package delivered by mistake to a man who took it from the hands of a courier.

In twelve months the military arrested 36 people for possession for the purpose of trafficking. Eighty-seven people reported. There has also been a surge in the number of those reported to the prefecture as hirers. In one year the number of 190 reported was reached.

The recovery of 900 doses of superhashish at the home of a 25-year-old from Terni with no criminal record. A substance at risk of death for consumers because it has an active ingredient equal to 95 percent purity.

It costs one hundred euros per dose and should only be taken in milligrams if you don’t want to risk your life.

The certainty is that what is fueling the city is a market facilitated by offers on the internet, which offer discounts to those looking for a high that risks being of no return. The ruthless war of the police is not enough, as the provincial commander of the Carabinieri, Antonio De Rosa, had the opportunity to reiterate: «Drugs are a social problem – he said at the weapons festival – the drug addict is a sick person who must be taken care of but they are also necessary policies that keep young people away from addictions».
