“MOTORCYCLING IN SIENA AND VAL D’ORCIA WITH ASI CIRCUITO TRICOLORE

A journey through time with vintage motorbikes. June 14th, 15th and 16th

In the heart of the picturesque Tuscany region, a unique event is about to come to life, bringing with it the roar and charm of historic motorbikes. The Circuito Tricolore ASI, a national series that celebrates the dynamic motoring heritage and beauty of the Italian territories, is preparing to fly its flag during the long weekend of 14, 15 and 16 June.

The winding streets, medieval villages and enchanting squares of the Siena area will become the stage of “Motociclettando”, an event which will see the participation of almost eighty historic motorbikes, thanks to the commitment of the Siena Club Auto Moto d’Epoca, the Club Moto d ‘Florentine Era and Italian Indian Historical Register. Among these, around twenty rare and precious gems, the “centenaries”, such as the Rochet tricycle from 1900, the Brutus from 1902 and the Frera from 1904, which will leave from Monteriggioni di Siena for an adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Chianti, of the Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia.

The journey through time begins on Friday 14 June, in the historic city of Siena, famous for its Palio, with a visit to the Municipal Museum. The following Saturday, participants will pass through fascinating locations such as Asciano, Trequanda, Pienza and Chianciano Terme. Right here, at 6.30 pm in Piazza Martiri Perugini, the re-enactment of a historic race that animated these streets a century ago will be held.

The conclusion of this adventure is scheduled for Sunday 16 June, with the return to Siena and a relaxing stop in Bagno Vignoni, before reaching the Contrada della Chiocciola Museum, where the curtain will close on this magnificent weekend full of passion for vintage motorbikes and the discovery of the hidden treasures of Tuscany.
