Summer Dream, this is the title of the concert that the orchestra of the third musical classes of the Cesalpino middle school held on Friday 7 June 2024 at 9.00 pm in the splendid location of the San Donato della Provincia terrace in via Ricasoli in Arezzo. With the patronage of the Municipality and Province of Arezzo, within the regional Festival of Creativity in schools, with the musical direction of prof. Massimo Melani, the Cesalpino orchestra presented a varied program full of surprises. In the presence of the mayor Ghinelli, the deputy mayor Lucia Tanti, the bishop of Arezzo mons. Andrea Migliavacca and Dr. Antonella Bianchi representing the Education Authority of Arezzo, the public, comfortably seated on the steps of the cathedral, was able to appreciate a new extraordinary performance by the young talented musicians of the Cesalpino middle school. “I always get excited when our school orchestra tunes their instruments before the concert. A beautiful sound, the anticipation of music – recalls the Headmaster Sandra Guidelli – and even on this stimulating occasion of being able to perform in a wonderful place, I listened to an amazing orchestra, so perfect that sometimes I thought I heard only one instrument”.
