“Chile and Peru…colorful perceptions” is the solo exhibition of traveling photographer Antonio De Conciliowhich will be hosted from 14 June to 21 July 2024 in the Provincial Library Room in C.so Garibaldi in Benevento.
Made in collaboration with the Sannita Photographic Club and with the patronage of Province of Beneventothe exhibition offers a selection of two photographic projects, whose common thread is the “journey to discover Chile and Peru”.
The idea for the trip was born one evening, on the occasion of a convivial reunion at the end September 2019, with the excuse of having to celebrate someone’s retirement. – the photographer’s story De Concilio – The choice of the itinerary, initially only sketched out, is based on a professional need of one of us, which later turned out to be fictitious. We depart from Fiumicino in the first week of February 2020 to arrive, without stopping and after a flight of over 12,000 km and approximately 16 hours, at the airport of Santiago de Chile. It was the end of February and in a few days we would have met… the lockdown”.
The exhibition, with free admission, will be open from 14 to 21 June 2024. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for Saturday 15 June at 6.30 pm in the presence of the author.
