Through their social profiles, Alessandro Nesta he spoke about his new role as coach of Monza, thanking the club and Adriano Galliani for their trust in entrusting him with the management of the team after Raffaele Palladino:
“I can’t wait to get started, I can’t wait for the first day of training camp to arrive, I can’t wait to put my passion and dedication to work at the service of this team. Thanks to Adriano Galliani and everyone Monza”, wrote the former defender.
In the past few hours, Galliani himself had spoken about the new coach as follows: “Alessandro Nesta will be the new coach who will take on the role from 1 July. Introducing Alessandro Nesta is superfluous, a great player who won two Champions Leagues and Super Cups with Berlusconi’s Milan European Championships, Club World Cup, also scoring goals, Italian cups, Italian super cups… A great player who grew up in Miami via Frosinone and now Reggiana and who we consider absolutely mature only to some skeptics, and they are few, that Mr. Arrigo Sacchi had never coached in Serie A as well as Raffaele Palladino. And since there is a saying that says ‘there are no twos without threes’, we hope that Nesta has the same fortune as his predecessors”.
