The coaches’ waltz in Serie A is coming to an end. Few have received confirmation, while many other teams have decided to change. Among these also the Verona who, after greeting Marco Barons – creator of the yellow-blue salvation and who settled at Lazio – decided to start a new path with Paolo Zanetti. The coach stayed put after his dismissal at Empoli and is now ready to start again.

The company has published the official announcement of the arrival of the new coach in these hours: “Hellas Verona FC announces that it has entrusted the technical management of the First Team to Paolo Zanetti, who has joined the yellow-blue club until 30 June 2025 with an option for the second year. The company addresses mister Paolo Zanetti, and all members of his staff, a warm welcome and wishes him well in his work”.
The 41-year-old coach is thus ready to start a new challenge on the bench of the Venetians after having played two years in Lega Pro, on the bench of South Tyrol, then in Serie B with Venice, with which he obtained promotion to Serie A. After the Serie A season with the Venetians, he moved toEmpoli where he achieved the goal of salvation in the 2022/2023 championship.
