Thursday 20 June, at 5.30 pm, at the Oratorio del Crocifisso in Foligno – in the heart of the historic center of the city – in collaboration with Franco Marinelli and Edotto srl, “The world of good people” by Sauro Pellerucci, President of the Association I am a good person.
Pellerucci will illustrate the fundamental characteristics of a world in which one can feel one’s part and in which the sociologist and President of Censis Giuseppe De Rita will be able to pause to analyze its concrete relevance in tangible and daily experience.
With the support of the journalist Federica Menghinella, the “I am a good person” award will be awarded in memory of Leonello Radi Founder of Nemetria, Valter Baldaccini Founder of UmbraGroup and Luigi Paternesi – known to most as Gigino – forerunner artist of the Smile Therapy for the benefit of the young patients of the Foligno Hospital.
The award ceremony is part of the program of the traveling event throughout the national territory and dedicated to “The world of good people”conceived by Pellerucci as an opportunity to meet, get to know and valorise that “silent majority” which, without fanfare, works daily for the common good in all sectors of the economy and society.
From January 2024 “The world of good people” has also become a book, published by Sì!Edizioni. Proposed by Pellerucci as a “manifesto of good”, in contrast to the spread of messages of pessimism and intolerance, it reaffirms the idea that humanity is mainly made up of “good people”. The book was recently presented at the Senate of the Republic, as well as at prestigious literary festivals such as the Turin International Book Fair and Soave Città del Libro.
