The mayor Giovanni Sarcinella has revoked the office of councilor Benedetto Natale, after the vote against the budget report of last May 30th.

The measure comes “following known facts which have recently crystallized the detachment of councilor Natale from the majority group and from the programmatic activities connected to it”, says the mayor. “Councilor Natale – he explains – has assumed behaviors that are dissonant with the political-administrative work, generating serious problems regarding acts of fundamental importance both for the city and for the continuation of the mandate of the entire administration. With councilor Natale there have never been there are no disagreements and we hope there won’t be any in the future; he made his decision to distance himself from the majority and its program in an absolutely autonomous manner and, therefore, no recrimination would be legitimate nor could we make any reproaches to ourselves for a defection which, however, leaves all of us saddened if only because valid reasons or plausible justifications do not exist. However, we hope for the integral maintenance of the friendship with Benedetto Natale as well as the continuation of one’s collaboration, wherever it takes place, always and. exclusively in the interest of our city”.

“I will comment, we will comment on this institutional post in the next city council, in the council chamber before the citizens as is right”, commented councilor Natale.
