It’s not over yet, in fact, it seems that cI’m waiting for other storms in the next few hours according to the forecasts of Pre-Alpine Geophysical Centre.

This morning, Wednesday 12 June, the sky seems calm, but let’s not be fooled: thunderstorms are expected in the afternoonwhich will become more intense and widespread in the evening, and scattered hailstorms cannot be ruled out either.

Another thing to keep an eye on is the lowering of temperatures. Today we will not exceed 25 degrees maximum, rather mild temperatures considering that we are now almost in summer.

For Thursday 13 June Clouds are expected but no torrential rain. In the morning there will still be some clouds and some residual rain that will move eastwards, affecting the lower Po Valley and eastern Lombardy, while rapid clearings will arrive from Piedmont. In the afternoon there will be sun everywhere, with some clouds on the hills, but no rain.

A “pleasant heat” awaits us on Friday which will start the weekend: it will be partly sunny with more extensive medium-high clouds over the Alps and Pre-Alps. It will be dry, with only some rare rain in the afternoon in the Western Alps.
