The National Secretary Spi Cgil Scacchetti visits the Women’s Space in Crotone

The National Secretary Spi CGIL Tania Scacchetti visited the Chamber of Labor of Crotone a Women’s Spacethe desk created with input from the Women’s Coordination of Spi Cgil Calabria in order to help women women victims of violenceforeigners, in difficulty due to housing or health needs, but also to be listening center and welcome, informative place and container in which to develop ideas and projects to be presented to the relevant institutions to encourage the inclusion of women in the world of work, promote the equality between the sexes e urge new policies and actions that are attentive to gender discrimination.

The Secretary met with the union’s management team and a representation of those who offer their professionalism to support women in need.

“Woman Space said Tania Scacchetti takes on an even more important value in an area like this and must become a lockpick for to assert a different model. Replacing Public Space, it reminds us of the need and urgency to reaffirm the right to a Public Space that takes care of needs of the population”.

The Center avails itself of the collaboration of Noemi Cooperative and of theBaubó associationan organization that has been operating in the Crotone area in defense of women for some time and is operational every Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm, in synergy with Auser Crotone Spi Cgil Vast Area, Public Function Cgil Vast Area and professionals. Inside the women find, among other things, assistance legal and social security.
