In recent years Cinzia Orlandini had worked at Suap and was in charge of the market. The deputy mayor and councilor for commerce Manuela Maffioli became aware of the dramatic news after the press conference on the patronal this morning, just before the council meeting. «I am particularly upset, it is a very sad day – says the deputy mayor -. The loss of a collaborator is always painful because, the way I love to work, they are very close figures, a team, I would say a family, without any rhetoric. The pain is heightened at the thought of her young age and his great attachment to life. A strong-willed woman, with strong personality and character. He always showed great energy and had many interests even outside the professional sphere.”
Colleagues remember his sunny character: «He was a friendly person, we always collaborated very well», explains Paola Poretti. Cinzia had worked in various municipal offices, from public education to culture, from taxes to the registry office right up to Suap. And she stood out for it great availability towards colleagues but also towards users. «He played different roles – recalls Paola Poretti -. She liked change, she never lost it desire to learn and find new stimuli». In these hours, there have been many phone calls among astonished municipal employees. «The former mayors Luigi Rosa and Gigi Farioli were also interested, testifying to the good memories left by Cinzia».
The funeral will be held on Thursday 13 June at 3.30 pm in the parish church of the Sacred Heart (Friars Minor), preceded by the rosary.
