Friday 14 June 2024, Rimini celebrates 70 years of “Romagna Mia” with a special evening dedicated to Liscio. From aperitif time until midnight, the Belvedere in Piazzale Kennedy comes alive with traditional Romagna music and dances, a few steps from the sea. Moreno il Biondo & Orchestra Grande Evento, together with the new Orchestra Santa Balera, made up of young musicians guests of the Sanremo Festival, will lead the evening.
Seventy pairs of dancers from the best dance schools in Romagna, together with the Alluvionati del Liscio, will perform, offering a unique show. Among the guests, Generation Z of Liscio will be represented by Margherita and Beniamino of Fratelli & Margherita, Alessia Dalcielo of Fade, Cristian Albani and other artists.
The event will be inaugurated and closed by the DJs of Liscio electronic and rap, with Dj Max Monti and Dj Women in Dj with Anymablue, supported by the rappers Word and Callà MC.
Throughout the day and weekend, Piazzale Kennedy will host the Music Live Food Truck, offering food and drinks to accompany the music and dancing. This event not only celebrates an important anniversary of Romagna culture, but also the vitality and innovation of Liscio, a musical genre that continues to evolve and fascinate new generations.
