The second edition of the “Vittoria for Women Tour” begins

The second edition of the “Vittoria for Women Tour”, the traveling journey created by Vittoria Insurance in collaboration with the Mirror of the Times Foundation and the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) to raise public awareness on the topic of prevention of oncological diseases in women. In the setting of the Italian Beach Rugby Trophy, the beach of Milano Marittima will host the first stage of the new summer roadshow on Saturday 22 June.

Accompanied by the claim “female prevention is our goal”, in each of the six stages the “VittoriaBus” will be available, a traveling information and prevention centre, purchased thanks to the fundraising started in 2023 on the occasion of the first edition of the Tour and donated to the Specchio dei Tempi Foundation, which will be used as a hall doctor for a free breast examination. Furthermore, for the entire duration of the initiative, a new fundraiser will be promoted this year aimed at supporting the purchase of one or more mobile ultrasound machines to further expand the operation throughout the country. All events will also see the involvement and direct participation of the Vittoria Assicurazioni agencies of reference for that specific location.

On this journey for prevention, participants will also be able to test on site an innovative Digital Health solution developed by How are you in collaboration with the De Pasquale Group. The application will allow them to monitor the most important vital parameters and receive the results of the check up directly on their smartphone.

The stages of Vittoria for Women Tour 2024

The company’s tour was conceived and created with the collaboration of the communication agency Integer and the agency Artena for the production and logistics part. In chronological order the dates of the initiative: 22-23/06 Milano Marittima (RV) – Emilia-Romagna; 29-30/06 Pescara – Abruzzo; 06-07/07 Rosolina Mare (RO) – Veneto; 13-14/07 San Felice Circeo (LT) – Lazio; 20-21/07 Viareggio – Tuscany; 27-28/07 Capaccio Paestum (SA) – Campania.
