Gianluca Grignani will be in Sesto San Giovanni to present his autobiography. The Milanese artist will present ‘Residui di Rock’n’roll – Sincere diary of an artist’ at the Tarantola bookshop in Piazza Martiri in via Fani 1 in Sesto; the meeting is scheduled for Thursday 27 June at 6pm.

The autobiography, written together to the journalist Eugenio Arcidiacono with the preface by Irama and the afterword by the record producer Stefano Senardi, recounts the artist’s childhood marked by the troubled relationship with his parents and by traumatic experiences, the success achieved when he was still very young, so sudden and sensational that it risked overwhelming him, the often complicated relationships with the discography and the press, the friendship with other artists, first of all Lucio Dalla.
In the text there is no shortage of references to new musical projects, with particular attention to literary, cinematographic and musical sources of inspiration. Grignani will also present the autobiography in Milan, on 13 June at the Ubik in via Monte Rosa. The ‘Residui di Rock’n’Roll’ musical tour also continues this summer.
