Ravenna, possible thunderstorms from tonight until tomorrow, yellow alert

New weather alert issued by the Civil Protection. From midnight today to midnight tomorrow, Thursday 13th, weather alert number 80, for thunderstorms, issued by the regional civil protection agency and Arpae Emilia-Romagna, will be active in the municipality of Ravenna. The alert is yellow.

For Thursday tomorrow, favorable conditions are forecast for the development of strong intensity thunderstorms, with possible effects and associated damage, more likely in the western sector in the early hours of the day and later along the hilly belt and adjacent plains of the central-eastern sector. Stormy phenomena may generate runoff and rapid rises in hydrometric levels in smaller watercourses. For this reason, in the note from the Municipality of Ravenna, it is recommended “to implement appropriate self-protection measures, including, in this case: pay attention to potentially flooded roads and do not access underpasses if they are flooded; secure objects sensitive to the effects of rain, hail and wind or likely to be damaged. We would like to remind you – the press release concludes – that the Municipality of Ravenna has equipped itself with the Alert System telephone information service, which can be used to disseminate civil protection and public utility communications to all citizens. Those who have not yet done so are therefore invited to register for the service by registering using the form at the link https://registrazione.alertsystem.it/ravenna”.
