MIRANDOLA – It started on June 11th Proximity Week: an initiative of the network of Pathological Addiction Services (SerDP) of the Local Health Authority of Modena in collaboration with local authorities and voluntary associations, to promote prevention services and risk reduction activities on the street and raise awareness of innovative projects on the topic.

The program includes seven events, one for each health district: Wednesday 12th in Vignola and Mirandola, Thursday 13th in Modena and Carpi, and the conclusion on Friday 14th in Pavullo.

On June 12th it’s the turn of the Districts of Mirandolainside theSanta Maria Bianca hospital from 9.30 to 12.30 with operators from SerDP and street education from Caleidos and Ceis, and from Vignolawith the appointment at Spilamberto from 10 to 12 with the professionals of the SerDP, the operators of the Coop. Aliante and the staff of the Terre di Castelli Union.

From 9.30 to 12.30 on Thursday 13th in Carpi the SerDP operators, together with the Aliante street education staff, will meet citizens in Piazza Martiri and illustrate the proximity, harm reduction and prevention activities.

The “Prossimità Fest” in Modena is organized by the Pathological Addictions Service of Modena, by the Municipality of Modena in collaboration with the Ceis and Caleidos Cooperatives and will be held Thursday 13th from 3pm to 5.30pm in the Pala Molza area, between via Molza and via Bono da Nonantola: the program includes an open and collective discussion on social innovation and territorial protection projects; followed by games, music and food to spend an afternoon together.

At the end of the Proximity Week, the event on Pavullo district, Friday 14thwhen in locality Treppi di Lama Mocogno SerDP professionals and Aliante operators will be available to citizens with an information stand, with distribution of specific materials, brochures, kit with breathalyzer and condoms, and actions to raise awareness and promote road safety, in the context of the event “Fear and Loathing” Hawaiian Party Act 1.
