325 preferences were obtained in Cosenza by Enzo Maraio, head of the list in the southern constituency for the United States of Europe list.
Enzo Maraio is the secretary of the PSI, the same party as Franz Caruso, called Frenz by all, but now better known as the hooded one, who is also the secretary of the province of Cosenza of the PSI. Luigi Incarnato, known by all as Giggino, better known as Tic Tac or Tic Tic but also Tic Toc…, is the national leader of that party.
In short, the hooded man was busy on his stomach together with his friend Giggino to bring preferences to the leader of their party. Maraio was sure that his party colleagues would bring him a nice nest egg of preferences.
And in truth the Frenz and Giggino did their best. They called Giggino’s daughter, Pina, who is a councilor in the municipality (you won’t believe it, but we assure you that it is so) and then the municipal councilors Fuorivia, Costanzo, Golluscio, even Commodaro, Bresciani and the culture delegate Antonietta Cozza . And then they also called to report the recently appointed managers Francesco Azzato, Salvatore Modesto, Raffaele Notte and Marco De Rito.
The talks took place in the mayor’s room and everyone was well indoctrinated to vote for the United States of Europe list with preference for Maraio. And hundreds of phone calls also came from the mayor’s room. Incarnate, in his improbable “Idalian”, he even boasted of his commitment and with the “ignorant” pomp that is typical of him he foresaw an extraordinary result.
The bitter awakening on Monday. Maraio in Cosenza scored 325 preferences. Which without the support of Filomena (i)Greco, sister of the ras of private healthcare Saverio and Giancarlo, candidate on the same list as Maraio, there would have been many fewer.
A failure. Made even more evident by the fact that Maria Pia Funaro, deputy mayor of the city before being kicked out by Caruso in Cosenza, had 1219 preferences in the AVS list. Four times more than Caruso. Which today is worth 325 preferences…
