Diabetes Marathon is an affiliated association of Uisp Forlì Cesena and organizes various initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of the pathology of diabetes. “On a previous occasion we have already talked about the Diabetes Marathon sporting event held in April, a great success of participation and involvement in the name of sport for all. On this occasion we shift the focus from sport to the musical sphere but it is always a pleasure to support the our partners in their initiatives. We are therefore with Diabetes in Music “Memorial Bob” 2024 so that diabetes no longer has the power to decide anyone’s life”, explains the association.
“Ninth edition of Diabetes in Music “Memorial Bob”, the sound celebration of Diabetes Marathon 2024, to support the projects of Diabete Romagna and improve the lives of children and adults who every day face the challenges and risks that having diabetes entails. On June 14th Diabetes in Music “Memorial Bob” will light up the clubs, the streets and the entire city of Cesena with the magic of music and solidarity, with the aim of raising people’s awareness of the issue of diabetes full of emotions and fun will be the numerous musicians who will perform in static musical formations in the venues of the historic center, in itinerant groups that will travel the “Streets of Solidarity” and in the Great Diabetes in Music Show at the Cloister of San Francesco which will welcome the performance by Sergio Casabianca e le Gocce with “The fabulous 60s”. The most famous songs of the 60s among the great Italian and international successes for a revival journey into music that will make us dream between music and theatre. A guaranteed fun show with the grand finale together with the Diabetes in Music Marching Band “Memorial Bob” for a truly unforgettable evening”.
The proceeds from the entire event will contribute to improving the lives of adults and children with diabetes in Romagna by financing professionals, healthcare equipment, training camps for children and families and home medical care for the most fragile people with diabetes.
