Legnano: drunks harass passers-by and attack the police

Legnano (Milan), 11 June 2024 – Completely drunk in the city centre, after annoying passers-by they attacked the police who intervened on the scene and broke the glass of the service car radio: enough to be arrested for resistance, injuries, damage and illegal possession of weapons.

The episode dates back to 2 in the morning today, Tuesday 11 June, when the staff of the Radiomobile Legnano section intervened in Corso Magenta, where it had beenthe presence of two troublesome individuals was reported who bothered passers-by. When the military arrived on site they found two men of Cuban nationality, both 30 years old, who were clearly drunk, to try to avoid identification they attacked the police with pushesthen engaging in a brief scuffle.

One of the two, when being taken to the barracks, broke the glass of the door right rear of the company car. The two men were searched and one of them was found to be in possession of a knife switchblade. The two thirty-year-olds were arrested for resistance, injuries, damage and illegal possession of weapons, and held in the barracks awaiting the direct scheduled for today at 1pm at the Busto Arsizio Court. A squad car from the local police station also intervened on site to provide assistance to the soldiers.
