He almost single-handedly dragged a civic list to get over 10%, behind only the Brothers of Italy in the right-wing coalition. His name is Mirko Mecozzi, he is an outgoing municipal councilor and with 1224 votes he is the new “mister preferences” of the municipality of Civitavecchia.
Thanks to his exploits he has become the most voted councilor candidate ever, given that he practically “ate” the previous record of Emanuela Mari, now regional councilor of the Brothers of Italy. The Melonian five years ago in Forza Italia was the first of those elected with 919 preferences.
