Once the electoral count has been completed, it is now possible to know what the composition of the new municipal council of Mazara del Vallo will be. The electoral office of the Sicilian Region comes to the rescue, having already published the distribution of seats between the various lists in light of the electoral result. And according to this distribution, the majority of the newly confirmed mayor Salvatore Quinci would have 15 councilors, while the opposition would have 9 councilors, including the mayoral candidate Vita Ippolito (second place). Therefore, among the 5 lists in support of Quinci, the 15 seats in the chamber of 31 March 1946 would be divided as follows: Partecipazione Politica 3 (Pietro Ferro 444, Casale Gianfranco 331 and Paola Galuffo 274); Salvatore Quinci Mayor 4 (Francesco Di Liberti 487, Paola Caltagirone 288, Valentina Grillo 261 and Germana Abbagnato 231); Fratelli d’Italia 3 (Dario Scaletta 397, Francesco Giacalobe 336 and Giampaolo Caruso 306); Political Observatory 3 (Francesca Calcara 412, Massimo Giardina 301 and Bice Mineo 273); Libertà 2 (Giovanni Iacono 423 and Eleonora Arena 348). Any elected councilors already appointed as councillors, such as Casale and Abbagnato, could scroll their respective lists and allow the entry of the first of the non-elected ones, namely Arianna D’Alfio and Salvatore Gianquinto. The coalition in support of Ippolito would have 5 councilors, distributed as follows: Forza Italia 1 (Michele Reina 404); Christian Democracy 2 (Aleandro Gilante 408 and Toni Russo 360); Popular and Autonomist/La Forza dei Fatti (Francesco Foggia 939); More Life (Antonella Coronetta 263). Finally, 3 councilors would go to the coalition in support of Cristaldi: Futurists 1 (Giuseppe Bonanno 293); Cristaldi Mayor 1 (Pietro Marino 536); Pride and Future 1 (Giorgio Randazzo 405).
