The historic pharmacist Alba Rosa Bandini has passed away

Alba Rosa Bandini, widow of Gian Carlo Botti, passed away yesterday morning at the age of 93. Since 1955 you have been the historic owner of the pharmacies in Carro, Rocchetta Vara, Riccò del Golfo and since 1985 in the capital municipality, first in Fossamastra and later in Bragarina with the Santa Barbara Pharmacy.
Appreciated not only as a pharmacist but also as an expert and scholar of medicinal plants from the Val di Vara, from which she formulated her famous galenic preparations. She was an empathetic and enthusiastic professional, capable of listening, she was a point of reference for the communities for which she carried out her work with passion and dedication. She leaves behind her children Stefania and Patrizia, owners of the Bragarina pharmacy, Alessandro, manager of the Province of La Spezia, her sons-in-law Rodolfo Buselli and Giuliano Niccoli, and her grandchildren Rebecca and Leonardo Buselli and Edoardo Niccoli.
The funeral will be held on Thursday 13 June at 3.00 pm at the church of Nostra Signora della Salute in Piazza Brin. It will be possible to pay a final farewell to Alba Rosa until Thursday morning, at the mortuary of the Sant’Andrea Hospital.
