The event arriving in the Besurica district of Piacenza on 16 and 17 June, between the square and the public garden in via Perfetti, is entitled “Besu Street Fest”. A two-day event of events, music, entertainment and truck food which represents an unprecedented initiative for the city, making its absolute debut. The first edition is conceived and organized by the Besuricando Aps volunteer association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Piacenza. And the intent is not only to liven up the neighborhood for two evenings, but also to convey a message with a strong civic value: the need to “think in a concrete way about the creation of a Besurica square”. In this sense, in fact, for a few hours the “Besu Street Fest takes away the cars and brings aggregation, fun and meetings to the central area of Besurica. Moreover, as the promoters underline, «it is often said that Besurica has everything: around four thousand inhabitants, a dense social, cultural, associative and commercial network, without however a symbolic place for meetings and events: a square. Where? As? Let’s talk about. Meanwhile, the “Besu Street Fest is another opportunity to rediscover the center of the neighborhood.”
The program – The “Besu Street Fest” program is packed. On the double evening of 16-17 June, the food trucks will open from 6.30pm with cocktails, beer, soft drinks, batarò, bortellina, sandwiches, skewers, paella, fish & chips, meatballs, pizza, gourmet and more. Sunday 16 June, at 8pm here is the live painting by Guari Art, i.e. the live creation of a mural on the bus shelter in via Perfetti, which will then remain on permanent display, telling the very concept of the square and urban aggregation ; at 8.30 pm space for the rapper Devil Sola, followed by Daniele Ronda’s concert at 9 pm; finally, from 11pm, you can dance to Logan’s DJ set together with Devil Sola. Monday 17 June will be repeated with the pole dance performance scheduled for 7.30pm, then the Dejavu concert at 9pm and, at the end of the event, Logan’s DJ set starting from around 11pm. Both evenings will feature a children’s area with games and inflatables in the green area.
Charity for the neighborhood – In addition to the mural donated to the Besurica square as a work of street furniture, the “Besu Street Fest” will also allow you to purchase an outdoor ping pong table, which will be installed in the public garden dedicated to the victims of all mafias.
