Today, the employees of the Abramo company have decided to stop working at the Crotone headquarters, demonstrating a profound sense of uncertainty and abandonment that has gripped them for years: despite being present in the company, no one is carrying out their normal work duties.
The decision is motivated by the lack of concrete answers to their concerns, with a pervasive sense of inertia on the part of the institutions. For many years, the company has represented a source of security and dignity for employees, but in recent times this certainty has been called into question.
The situation is further complicated by the recent news regarding the sale of the Abramo Customer Care business unit, responsible for the Tim contract, to the consortium composed of Enosi Holding and Steel Telecom. Although the operation obtained the approval of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy last March, its complete implementation is subject to the signature of the unions.
However, there is disagreement between the parties regarding the number of jobs guaranteed by the new ownership. The unions are not satisfied with the purchase proposal as it does not provide sufficient employment guarantees for employees.
In this context of uncertainty and tension, workers have decided to make their voices heard by folding their arms, in the hope of obtaining greater clarity and protection for their working future. The situation remains fluid, and a constructive dialogue between interested parties will be necessary to find a solution that takes into account the legitimate concerns of employees and the interests of the company and the institutions involved.
