The Democratic Party is the leading party in the entire province of Bologna, including the Imola district, and in Emilia-Romagna, indeed it increases its votes compared to the previous European elections (40% in the province of Bologna against 37% in 2019). Fdi, the leading party in Italy, makes a splash (almost 25%) while Lega (4.60%) and Forza Italia (4.52%) collapse to quorum risk numbers. The M5s also collapses (7% had 13% in 2019) overtaken by the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra which flies and comes close to 9%.
TO Imola the Democratic Party reaches 43.18%, FdI stops at 23.69%. TO Castel San Pietro the Democratic Party is at 43.47% ea Medicine at 40.70%.
In our neighborhood only a Castel del Rio by a whisker Fdi is the first party on the Democratic Party (35.77% against 35.36%, i.e. 2 votes), and is following very close behind Dozza (33.82% Pd and 31.26% FdI) e Fontanelice (34.75% of the Pd against 34.07% Fdi).
The right-wing wind that sweeps Europe overnight and sinks Macron (France is preparing for new elections after Le Pen’s super result) does not break through. Right and sovereignists are growing but the majority of the European Parliament remains pro-EU with the People’s Party (EPP) the first party and the possibility of a re-edition of the Ursula majority with the progressives.
