59% at the European elections, 63% at the municipal elections

Florence, 10 June 2024 – He is at 59.07% the turnout in Tuscany for the vote for European elections in 3,926 seats out of 3,926, a decrease compared to the 2019 vote for the European Parliament: at that time the turnout was 65.75%. The turnout, compared to the European elections in 2019, is decreasing in all the Tuscan provinces. According to the definitive data, the highest turnout was recorded at Florence: 65.07%down compared to the 70.21% of the 2019 electoral round. They follow Lawn (64.12%), Siena (64.09%), Pisa (60.96%) e Arezzo (60.63%). Turnout was under 60%. Livorno (58.66%), Pistoia (55.20%), Grosseto (54.42%), Massa Carrara (46.86%), Lucca (48.21%).

As regards, however, the municipal electionsin Tuscany the turnout in the 2,420 sections was higher than in the European ones, equal to 63.84%even in this case, however, down compared to the 68.84% of the previous elections.

For the municipal elections a Florence in the 360 ​​seats the turnout was 64.42%: in 2019 it was 68.06. TO Lawn 63.99% of those entitled voted for the municipal elections, 68.51 in 2019. TO Livorno the definitive turnout figure is 55.13%: in 2019 it was 62.58%.
