On 5, 6 and 7 July the City of Modica Musical Band “Belluardo-Risadelli” directed by Maestro Corrado Civello in collaboration with the International Flaut Academy of Maestro Leonardo Grittani with the partnership of the State Conservatory of Music “Vincenzo Bellini” of Caltanissetta and the municipal administration, is pleased to present the Neuro-respiration Workshop open to all wind instrument musicians and the Transverse Flute Masterclass with the extraordinary participation of the flautist and orchestra director in Modica in the province of Ragusa Mº Leonardo Grittani, an established soloist and teacher at an international level with awards and recitals to his credit in the most prestigious concert halls on the international territory including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, the Philarmonie of Berlin, the Víctor Espinós Musical Library of Madrid, the Teatro Argentina in Rome, the Teatro Colòn of Huelva in Spain, the Majesty’s Theater of Aberdeen in Scotland, the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz, the Accademia Chigiana of Siena, the Petruzzelli Theater in Bari, the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican City, the Royal Conservatoire in Den Haag, the Foro Ibero Americano de la Rabida in Spain, etc.
The Workshop on Neuro-Breathing, open to wind musicians of all ages and levels, will be a practical path in which you can learn to dominate your breathing capacity by understanding the influence of breathing on the mind through age-old instruments combined with the most modern neuro-techniques. -scientific neuro-respiratory implementation to enhance breathing, control energy inside and outside musical performance, quality of life, sleep and creativity, reduce stress or performance anxiety, transforming tensions into pleasures . The flute Masterclass will include individual flute lessons with collective insights related to the neuro-flautist and interpretative technique to learn to communicate with freedom and unlock rigidities in 360 degree flute and musical performance. The Masterclass program is suitable for flutists of all ages and levels, young students, graduates and non-graduates, concert performers and flute teachers.
Beginners who wish to delve deeper into issues related to the study method and the key strategic elements for achieving their flute, musical and teaching goals will also be welcomed.
The presence of a pianist accompanist is also expected on site for those who want to deepen their repertoire on the piano.
Registrations will close on June 18th and will be possible up to a maximum of 40 students according to the strict registration order.
The Neuro-Respiration Workshop will be held on Saturday 6 July while the Flute Masterclass will be held on 5 and 7 July in Modica both at the Music Hall of the City of Modica Musical Band “Belluardo – Risadelli” located in C.so Umberto I n.306 (S. Francesco Auditorium, rooms adjacent to the Guardia di Finanza).
