CIVITAVECCHIA – There are several interesting data that emerge from a comparison between the results of the 2024 European Championships with those of 2019 in Civitavecchia.
European elections: FdI first party in Civitavecchia
Certainly what stands out predominantly is the dizzying growth of Fratelli d’Italia which, yesterday, closed with a percentage of 31.60% against 7.89% in 2019. The League – Noi con Salvini has seen a sharp decline since 33.89% went to 7.20%. Forza Italia also fell, standing at 8.34% compared to 10.07% in 2019.
Moving to the center-left area, however, it results in the Democratic Party also suffered a slight decline, which stood at 18.25% against 19.97% in 2019. A more significant decline, however, was that of the Five Star Movement which went from 20.22% in 2019 to 14.15% in 2024.
The news of these elections, compared to 2019, are United States of Europe which stands at 7.54%, Alleanza Verdi Sinistra which closes at 6.3%, Peace Earth Dignity with 2.64%, Action which stops at 1.76%, Sovereign Popular Democracy with 0.90%, Freedom stops at 0.84% and Popular Alternative which remains at 0.47%.
The other forces in the field in 2019 did not exceed 2% (The best result was that of Green Europe with 1.87%) while in the 2024 European elections there is a drop of a few points for practically all the big parties, except FdI growing rapidly.
There was a sharp decline in turnout, which stood at 65.42% compared to 71.22% in 2019.
