PESARO Against neglect and lack of maintenance in the subdivision Edilstate, in the area between via Lubiana, via Scajola, via Sonnino and via Trometta, the voice of the condominiums is heard: over 340 families including residents, shop owners and 15 condominium buildings. The condominium administrators Giorgi and Cecchini, from the associated studio of the same name in via del Novecento, in Celletta, highlighted with an open letter the state that this area has been in for many months now. In recent weeks, there have been reports from many parts of the city of poor, if not absent, maintenance and a general state of neglect, and not only in this neighborhood but the same has been complained about in the historic centre, in Pantano and Trebbiantico.

The reporting

Just scroll through the shots around the Edilstato residential complex to realize the critical issues regarding greenery and paving. And the most serious thing Giorgi and Cecchini point out is that the Aspes Urban Green service practically no longer intervenes and passes the ball to private individuals. We are talking about the public part and the private part for public use.
«It is clear to everyone, residents and non-residents – write the administrators – the degradation of trees, roads, pavements and public lighting. We remind you that this sector is part of the Edilstato subdivision. The almost total absence of maintenance has been reported not once but several times to the Administration and departments responsible for Public Works and Maintenance since last March, leading to the last three reminder email reports on the dates of 10, 17 April and 8 May. But to date without any takeover by the municipal service. Our firm really contacted everyone, including Aspes and Multiservizi, the Municipality and the candidates.”

Site inspection

Not even the single inspection carried out by the councillor, the Maintenance manager and a manager from Aspes was of any use. «Yes, because we don’t really know how to do it – observes the administrator Francesco Cecchini – we were simply told by the technicians that the situation is too onerous, and any cutting, pruning, mowing or resurfacing of the road cannot be done in the summer. The hope is that this part of the city can be among the priorities of the new council.” Open critical issues: first of all the foliage must be lightened and the trees pruned immediately after summer. This is an intervention that the condominium owners believe cannot be deferred.
«In via Filippini – the administrators of the condominium continue – there is an asphalt problem precisely due to the roots of the tall trees, which have caused the pavement to rise up to 50 centimeters with potholes, cracks and in some places causing I risk the cable ducts. We ask that those compromised trees be cut down. For example, on the same street, the residents point out, some tall trees should be removed which at the time were mistakenly planted in the center of the pavement, without however considering that today they complicate the lives of disabled people and elderly people with difficulty movement. And again, the collaboration of Multiservizi is necessary for a currently non-existent connection of a stretch of white sewerage, otherwise it often happens that the rainwater is unable to drain and the street floods with every heavy rain, as there have been many. Last but not least – they conclude – we need a defibrillator which this area does not have to guarantee the safety of residents and citizen users, given the presence of tennis courts and a small skating rink”.
