Don Gioele Asquini’s first mass in Legnano at the San Paolo Oratory

Legnano – A first celebration in a place chosen not by chance, it is right here in fact, between the fields and the “Hall” of the Oratory of San Paolo That Don Gioele, now 34 years old and with a degree in computer science, he grew and matured in his faith. A faith “built” over time and which has materialized today, as was also taken up during the Homily, linking the meaning to many small LEGO® bricks.

The new priest Don Gioele Asquini, all‘after the nomination received in the Duomo fromArchbishop Mario Delpini, on the morning of Sunday 9 June, he was welcomed in the courtyard ofOratory of San Paolo in Legnanowhere among the banners of the Contrade del Palio lined up in full order he celebrated his first Mass.

The Mayor of Legnano was also present at this important and well-attended occasion – with several people still standing. Lorenzo Radice e the Grand Master of the College of Captains and Contrade Raffaele Bonito – Gioele was also master of ceremonies of the Palio, and the priests of Legnano, with them too Don Walter Zatta, parish priest in San Paolo, Don Luca Longoni and Don Claudio Stramazzo, then the don “of the young people” when Gioele was an animator in the Parish.

At the end of the heuristic celebration Don Gioele wanted to offerand the first greeting and a sincere thank you with a strong hug to everyone, reached the hearts of many present and the community.
