The turnout at Bologna, today at 12, is close to 30 percent. In the elections to the European Parliament he voted 29.96 percent of the people of Bologna, equal – in absolute values - to 90,758 voters, compared to 309,304 eligible voters, of which 146,960 men and 162,343 women. One thing anyway higher if compared with the 2019 European Championships (in that case voting took place on only one day), when at 12 22.94 percent of voters voted. A participation that, as per tradition, is higher than the national averagegiven that at noon i data from the Interior Ministry show a turnout of 25.7 percent. The participation in Emilia Romagna is higher, albeit slightly, as it approaches 32 percent. However, turnout is on the rise some municipalities in the Bolognese hinterland where people also vote for municipal elections, such as a Castenaso. Here the turnout already at 12 is almost 40 percent.
The bar to overcome – for the city of Bologna – is that of 63.3 percent, data referring to the European elections five years ago.
