Between yesterday afternoon and this morning all six candidates for mayor of Sanremo voted. Between handshakes and greetings among themselves, they fulfilled their right and duty to vote in both the administrative elections and the European elections. After the start given by the current outgoing mayor, Alberto Biancheri, the first was Fulvio Fellegara, at the polling station in via Margotti in the Baragallo district.

After him Alessandro Mager, at the ‘Pascoli’ school in Corso Cavallotti. This morning it was Roberto Rizzo’s turn, who expressed his preferences in one of the two seats in Coldirodi. Finally the ‘triptych’ a short distance from each other, again at the ‘Pascoli’. Gianni Rolando, Roberto Danieli and Erica Martini voted in order.

The first two were also ‘welcomed’ by their rival Alessandro Mager and took the ritual photo with a handshake. A ritual, that of the photo at the vote for the candidates for mayor, which was also repeated in this electoral round full of expectations, to understand who will succeed Alberto Biancheri’s 10-year mandate.

Tomorrow at 2.30pm, we remind you, the counting will start (for the European Championships it will start tonight at 11pm) and, in our newspaper and on our Facebook and YouTube channels, Sanremo News will be live until the evening from the ‘BIG’ in Piazza Bresca with guests, comments and results. Connections are also planned with Camporosso, Ospedaletti and various municipalities in our province affected by the administrative vote.
