European elections, voter turnout: 13.80% voted in Lamezia at 12pm

Lamezia Terme – The turnout at the polls for the European elections at 12 pm in Lamezia Terme is 13.80%. However, when the polls closed yesterday 8 June, the turnout in the city was 7.82%. The polls will remain open until 11pm this evening. The counting of votes will begin at 11pm on the same Sunday for the European elections, followed by the counting of the ballot papers for the municipal elections.

The turnout recorded in Calabria at 12pm for the European consultations was 19.35%. Last night, at 11pm, when the polls closed on the first day, the turnout was 11.57%. In Catanzaro, a municipality not interested in voting for local elections, those who went to the polling station were 18.92% (11.18 last night) of those entitled to vote. In Vibo Valentia, Corigliano-Rossano, Gioia Tauro and Montalto Uffugo, where people also vote for the Municipality, the turnout at 12pm for the European elections was, respectively, 38.34%, 39.17%, 35.45 % and 38.77. Last night at 11pm it was 25.57%, 25.46%, 22.46% and 24.17%. For the municipal elections, the overall regional turnout figure was 33.89. Last night it was 21.77. In Vibo, participation in the vote for the Municipality was 37.25% (24.84 last night), in Corigliano-Rossano 33.98% (22.17), in Gioia Tauro 33.37% ( 21.13) and in Montalto Uffugo by 36.44% (22.74)
