The VII edition of the Antica Rotonda Tournament will take place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June, organized by Borgo San Pietro.
The tournament will see competing groups of flag-wavers and musicians (under and absolute federal categories) from Asti, from other cities in Piedmont and beyond.
The Tournament, as explained on its social channels by Borgo rossoverde, was born in 2015 with the aim of enhancing the art of the flag and the historical places significant for our Borgo. It is no coincidence that the name recalls the “Rotonda del Santo Sepolcro” or the complex of the Baptistery of San Pietro for many centuries home to the Jerusalem Priory of Lombardy, which is located a few steps from Piazzale De André, home of the competition field.
Since 2016 the Tournament has included the Mara Sillano Sabatini memorial, reserved for the under categories, in memory of the dear Borghigiana rossoverde.
On the occasion of the Antica Rotonda Tournament, Borgo San Pietro has organized an evening with street food and music on Saturday 15 June. Aperitif from 6pm and dinner from 8pm, with the music of the Talloni Roventi DJ set to accompany the evening.
