Maxi theft in the jewelry store Bulgarians in via Condotti in the heart of Rome. The theft was discovered around midnight by security personnel after the alarm system had been triggered. The thieves entered a service room of the store from a hole in the floor that they had created by drilling the wall of a room below. The loot is approx 500 thousand euros. Investigations were carried out on site by the forensic police. The policemen of the Rome flying squad are investigating. Detectives are examining video cameras in the area to identify the thieves.
Already in the past the same jewelry store suffered an attempted theft where the thieves used a tow truck to smash the window in broad daylight.
