Tonight’s fashion show at the Santa Caterina Auditorium in Treviso aims to enhance women in various areas of their lives

The traders of Confcommercio Treviso know this well and, for the 6th edition of “La Forza in Catwalk”, they made themselves available to 40 special models aged 28 to 73, lending their clothes to the shop window and their professional skills as hair stylists. and make up artist,
Today at the Santa Caterina auditorium in Treviso is a special day that celebrates the resilience and femininity of women who have faced, or are still facing, the oncology journey, in particular breast cancer.
Seven traders from Confcommercio Treviso – G. Vintage, Berto’s, Genty Camicie, Altromercato, Mooni, Ghungroo and Nikicoordinated by Stylist Doris Feltrin – will make their clothes and accessories available, tailor-made for the models, and will offer their make-up and hairstyling services. This collective commitment not only highlights the solidarity of Confcommercio Treviso, but allows us to launch a strong prevention message.
It is therefore not a glamorous event, but a “therapeutic” fashion show that allows women to experience a moment of normality, away from clinics and medical treatments and to show their relatives, friends and the entire community rediscovered beauty. Even the preparation for the fashion show, with the testing of clothes, make-up and hairstyle, and the sharing of emotions and stories, provides important emotional support that alleviates the sense of isolation that often accompanies the illness.
The 6th edition of la Forza in Catwalk will begin at 6.30 pm and, due to space constraints, access can only be made by reservation.
The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Treviso and the Civic Museums of Treviso on the occasion of the “Donna in Scena. Boldini, Selvatico Martini” and aims to enhance women in various areas of their lives.
“La Forza in Catwalk” was born in 2020 during the pandemic from an idea by Michela Bardi and supported by Matteo Geretto, from the Monastier Hospital, it has become a symbol of hope and rebirth. Each edition involves women who have lived the oncological experience, demonstrating that femininity can flourish even in the most difficult moments.
The first edition was held in Piazzale Burchiellati in July 2021.
