Modena, 9 June 2024 – Two 12 year olds, students little more than children, both victims of sexual violence in the space of a month. Both ‘betrayed’ by slightly older boys. It happens in two municipalities not far from Modena. In recent days, the case of a 12-year-old girl had landed on the table of the juvenile prosecutor’s office. raped in her own home from a 15-year-old friend while the other, a 16-year-old, apparently an accomplice, she kept her friend away.
Now a second case emerges, which even occurred in broad daylight. A 12-year-old student, resident in Modena, was allegedly forced to suffer sexual acts from her boyfriend: a 15 year old boy of foreign origin. At the same time the minor would have been taken with the cell phone from the boyfriend’s 16-year-old friend. The video – in which the 15-year-old also bragged – is in a short time went viral on chats of teenagers in the area.
We are in Vignola and the episode – according to what we learn – occurred last week in bus station. The three, the 12-year-old and the two friends, had reached the area at the end of school lessons.
Taken to a somewhat isolated place, the minor would then be threatened by her boyfriend: “If you don’t do what I tell you, I leave you”, he allegedly told her, then forcing her to perform the sexual act. The teenager’s friend, laughing and humiliating the very young victim, would have filmed everything with his mobile phone, and then forward the horror on the chats over and over again of friends and acquaintances.
The case has obviously created dismay in Vignola, the city of cherries, especially among parents, many of whom complain about the presence of unscrupulous baby gangs right in that area. The girl, a few hours after the violence, in shock over what had happened, confided in the psychologist: very quickly the reporting to the family of the alleged victim and, consequently, the report to the police.
The minors’ prosecutor’s office has delegated the Modena police station for the investigation and the collaboration of the postal police, which has suffered, is fundamental captured chats and videosin order to identify not only the two alleged perpetrators but also all those who released the video of violence. In the past few hours the agents have also carried out searches in the homes of the alleged perpetrators, in order to seize the IT material.
The crimes alleged against two suspects – aged 15 and 16 – would be those of sexual violence against a minor and dissemination of child pornography. Delicate investigations are underway for both cases of violence, which occurred a short distance from each other.
