Advanced training course on domestic and gender violence at Fatebenefratelli

On the afternoon of Monday 10 June from 3pm to 6pm, the seventh training meeting of the “Higher training course on domestic and gender violence and against vulnerable victims” promoted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office will be held in the auditorium of the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Benevento. Republic of Benevento and by the bodies of the “Inter-institutional table for the protection of vulnerable victims and gender violence” in collaboration with the project “Luana. Prevention of violence and Empowerment”, coordinated by Coop EVA.

The training meeting will focus on the topic of ‘victimisation’. Within this framework, issues relating to possible paths for the victim, secondary victimization, the reception of victims with particular reference to those of human trafficking, trafficking for the purposes of sexual and labor exploitation will be addressed

The meeting, after a greeting from Father Superior Fra Lorenzo Gamos, will be introduced and coordinated by Maria Giuseppa Colatruglio, psychologist from the clinical psychology service of Fatebenefratelli.

The talks will be held by Concetta Gallo, psychologist and psychotherapist, head of Aisha, a home for women victims of trafficking who will talk about reception and paths for victims of trafficking, by Gina Troisi, psychologist and psychotherapist, researcher at the Unifortunato (clinical psychology) and at the Federico II (Human mind and gender studies) who will speak on the phenomenon of victimization and on the paths of inclusion and intervention for refugee women victims of violence: the experience of the MIA project and by Cristiana Scoppa, journalist responsible for the press office and communication of the coop EVA, with prevalent experience with women’s organizations and associations with an intervention on the communication of violence and on the truth and trust that must distinguish it.

Carmen Festa, psychologist, representative of the Space for Listening and Reception of Vulnerable Victims of the Prosecutor’s Office, Coop EVA, will illustrate the results of the Questionnaire on gender and domestic violence, created and filled in by students of the Liceo Statale G. Guacci di Benevento schools, ITI Lucarelli of Benevento, Liceo Classico De La Salle of Benevento, “Fragola” Faicchio-Castelvenere higher education institute, IIS Alfonso Maria de Liguori of Sant’Agata dei Goti, IIS Medi-Livatino of San Bartolomeo in Galdo and San Marco dei Cavoti and The Technique in the context of the laboratories with the schools that have joined and participated in the training activities of the Course. The training methodology adopted includes moments of discussion after each intervention with the direct involvement of the participants.
