Val di Fassa Cooking Class, the new taste review of the summer. From 14 June to 20 September, 16 traditional cuisine events are available, in special locations such as Sass Pordoi and Alpe Lusia, to savor the Ladin valley

If you are a travel and cooking enthusiast, there is a mouth-watering summer event: Val di Fassa Cooking Class. From 14 June to 20 September, you can discover the authentic flavors of the Ladin valley, on a journey that involves not only the palate, but also the heart.

Imagine finding yourself among the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, surrounded by the beauty of landscapes where nature leaves you breathless, while you learn the secrets of traditional Fassa cuisine. Choose one or more of the sixteen scheduled lessons to immerse yourself in the local culinary culture and test your skills in the kitchen.

The lessons take place in enchanting places such as Sass Pordoi and Alpe Lusia, where you are guided by Elena Vian, a famous chef at home with an overwhelming passion for the gastronomic traditions of her land: Elena is from Vigo and, after having gained experience even in starred restaurants, she has chosen to become a home cook in special locations and for various VIPs. With her you learn to prepare dumplings, ciajoncie (traditional ravioli), strudel or kaiserschmarren: each dish is not a simple recipe but a sensorial journey capable of leaving an indelible memory.

But the Val di Fassa Cooking Class doesn’t stop here. Nine lessons are held in the welcoming atmosphere of Osteria da Carpano, where the local chef leads you to discover the unique flavors of the valley.
