The basketball world in Rimini mourns the loss of Massimo Morri, who passed away at the age of 52 after a short illness. Morri distinguished himself as an emerging talent by contributing to the victory of numerous youth championships. After his retirement as a player, Morri continued to be involved in the environment as a coach in the youth sector while also alternating his activity as a popular photographer.
Rbr’s condolences “There is something that no one will ever take away from you” we read on the Rimini team’s social networks “the passion you had for basketball that led you to be part of the most successful group in the history of Basketball Rimini. You will always be one of the great heroes of ’72 whose championships won at youth level we praise.”
The mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad also addressed a thought to Massimo Morri “Hi Massimo! Now take one of your wonderful photos from up there.”

The funeral organized by OFC Cappelli will be celebrated on Tuesday 11 June in the church of San Giovanni Battista at 5pm. A farewell to Max will follow at the Polisportiva Stella.
