Municipal and European elections, constitution of seats nearing completion

CREMONA – On Saturday 8 June 2024 from 3pm to 11pm and Sunday 9 June 2024 from 7am to 11pm we will vote for the election of the members of the European Parliament and for the direct election of the Mayor and the City Council. It is advisable for voters to check the spaces available on their voter card in good time. To make it easier for citizens, the Electoral Office (corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 42) will be open to the public, without reservation, for the issuing of the electoral card – in case of running out of spaces or loss – in addition to the usual opening hours, on Friday 7 June from 8.30am to 6pm, Saturday 8 June from 8.30am to 11pm, Sunday 9 June from 7am to 11pm.

The Registry Office (via Ala Ponzone, 32) will be open to the public, without reservations, only for the issue of identity cards for citizens who need them to go to vote. Voters who intend to exercise their right to vote, but are unable to go to the polling station independently due to mobility impairment, can ask to be accompanied to the polling station with a transport service provided by an association equipped with vehicles equipped for the transport of disabled people. To use the transport service, simply call the Municipality’s electoral office (tel 0372407333 – 0372407332).

All polling stations are located in the location indicated on the voter card except the following seats are temporarily NOT SUITABLE for electoral operations:

The timetables can be consulted on the Municipality website on the dedicated page (https://www.comune.cremona.it/elezioni-2024) containing the details of all the useful information relating to voting in the 2024 European and Administrative elections.

The Electoral Office is completing the preparatory operations for the establishment of the polling stations by notifying the polling station presidents and designated scrutineers of the relevant appointment. With regard to some communications circulated on the lack of scrutineers, the Municipality ensures that it has all the necessary professionalism to guarantee the correct conduct of the electoral consultation. In recent days there have been some resignations on the part of some scrutineers, promptly replaced with those who had given their availability but had not yet been involved.

The official data of the election results will be available on the Municipality website of the European and administrative elections at the following links:

Starting from 2pm on Monday 10 June a.m. will be active at SpazioComune “press point” where the unofficial data of the local elections will be projected.
