Livorno, 8 June 2024 – “It is a great honor for me to be here. I won’t hide from you that I’m also a little excited. Every time I came here as an opponent I said to myself: ‘I wonder if I will ever be a coach of this team‘. In the end it happened and I thank President Esciua.”
As Paolo IndianiLivorno’s new coach, presented at the stadium together with the technical director Doga and the new sporting director Egidio Bicchierathe. “We will do everything to bring Livorno back to the football that counts, in Serie C. But we know that to get there we have to face a difficult year. You have seen that the Serie D championship is difficult.” He’s really excited Paolo Indiani who says he is “convinced of being able to bring amaranth back into professionalism”.
“Those words from the coach are correct – he says Egidio Bicchierai – I’m honored to be in Livorno, it’s a goal I had to have an even better year than the ones I’ve had. Say you come here to get the objectives that have not been achieved in previous years is telling the truth. We have to get to that goal in one Series D which is a sui generis championship, with environmental difficulties too, on pitches that I don’t want to say on the outskirts but still not perfect. It takes a lot of adaptation.”
