Sallust and the eviction. Suggestions for possible repositioning of the statue are accepted

L’AQUILA – The idea of the deputy mayor of L’Aquila to replace the statue of Sallust with the fountain in Piazza dei Gesuiti has prompted a multitude of more or less disjointed reactions.

It was to be imagined. On the other hand, even today, the pavement of Piazza Duomo causes discussion, especially when it is sunny and you need to wear dark glasses to cross it; or the street lamps of the same that still make the keyboard lions roar.

Now is the great moment of the statue of Sallust. Where would you put it if, in reality, you had to proceed with the uprooting/moving of the large fountain?

And since we’re on the subject of big changes, what would you like to move or replace in the historic center? Is there something you would see well elsewhere?

Does the Luminous Fountain, for example, look good there or perhaps the time has come to bring it to the Villa Comunale? And the Park Auditorium?

What if we moved the statues of the Madonna Fore to Piazza d’Armi and the market to the Italtel square?

Would you like, in short, to rethink the city like the deputy mayor is doing? If so, it would be nice to know your opinion. But first, let’s find a place for Sallustio! (What then, instead of the large fountain? Idk!)
